A collab between Foam and House of Fermentology
Each year, we release a new bottle for our annual wild and funky beer festival. This year’s FOTW was brewed with Vermont malthouse’ Pilsen malt NEK grains hard red winter wheat, and champlain valley hops’ proprietary Foam Hop Blend in the boil. This Mixed Culture Ale was fermented and aged in neutral French Oak for six months, starting in 2020. During the aging process, raw wildflower honey from our very own apiary was added to the barrels. Finally, the beer was conditioned and age in the bottle for an entire year. The resulting beer is crackling dry, with hints of assorted fruits, vanilla and hint of white pepper. There’s a pleasant, light acidity present. 6.8% alcohol by volume. 17/500ml Bottles. 3 bottle limit per person.
