BEER SHIPPING FAQ

 

 

Beer Shipping Availability

Orders for beer shipping via UPS are available from noon on Thursday until 5pm on Sunday, or until we sell out. Orders will ship out the following Monday, or Tuesday at the latest and on holiday weekends. We are currently shipping to Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Ordering through UPS is a separate ordering method from curbside pickup.  Please make sure that you do not add products from different pages on this site to your cart. You will not be able to checkout properly. Shipping beer via UPS is always subject to whether or not we have that beer available.

In the past few months we’ve been able to reduce our shipping and handling fees and are excited to announce that we are passing those savings on to you. You can expect an average savings of 20% on Shipping & Handling from what we were charging last Winter/Spring. Shipping and handling will be calculated at the checkout by the weight of the package and destination. You also now have the freedom to choose Next Day Air, in addition to regular UPS Ground. All of the states we deliver to are within 2-day ground shipping but UPS does not guarantee this. If you would like to pay extra for the guarantee, you may do that now. Please keep in mind that transit times are from the day your package is shipped, not the day you order it. All Direct Ship packages are shipped Monday (or Tuesday morning at the very latest).


Beer Shipping FAQ

DO I NEED TO BE AT MY HOME WHEN THE PACKAGE IS DELIVERED?

Yes you do. The UPS driver will require a valid 21+ Driver’s license or ID card and signature when they arrive with your beer. 

WHEN WILL MY BEER BE AT MY HOME?? 

 

 

Most orders will be shipped the following Monday, with the remainder shipping Tuesday on busy weeks. Transit times will vary between 1-3 days depending on location. Check your email for tracking information that will be sent the same day your order is shipped.

WHY ARE YOU ONLY SHIPPING ON CERTAIN DAYS?

 

 

Getting beer to you as fresh as it possibly can be is a top priority for us. Sending beer out only on these days allows us to be sure the beer ships and arrives before the weekend. Therefore, it doesn't sit around in a non-temperature controlled place for days on end. This is something we would like to avoid, so the beer is tasting its best when you receive it.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ENSURE FRESHNESS AND QUALITY OF SHIPPED BEER? 

We work extremely hard to brew and package our beers so that they are of the utmost quality when you consume them. That being said, the majority of beers we produce should be kept cold and consumed fresh. For all of our canned beer, we ship them cold in perfectly sized, tightly packed, quadrupal-walled cardboard with cold packs. The packaging insulates them and protects them and the cold packs provide an extra layer of extra cold protection. We have done extensive research to provide the most sustainable, cost-effective, and quality controlled packaging. We may find improvements in the future, but all of these factors were considered extensively pre-launch.

I MISSED THE ORDER WINDOW THIS WEEK. WHAT NOW?

 

There is always next week! We'll be canning more fresh beer next week. Order windows may change as we adapt to new systems but they currently open Thursday at noon, and close Sunday at 5pm. Shipping out Monday/Tuesday.

CAN I RETURN THE BEER I ORDERED?

 

Unfortunately not, we will not be accepting returns.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE BEER PACKAGE I RECEIVED IS DAMAGED?

Sorry to hear that. The course of action would be to photograph the package in the state you received it, and send that via email with your order number to info@foambrewers.com.

IS THIS GONNA BE FOREVER?

Currently we are only planning to ship beer during the colder seasons, when it is easiest to keep the beer fresh!

WHICH STATES ARE YOU ABLE TO SHIP BEER BEER TO?

 

 

Right now we are shipping to Vermont, New Hampshire, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio. There are many laws around shipping beer. These vary state by state with most prohibiting it outright. Additionally, the quality logistics and costs associated with shipping beer to states farther away can be very discouraging. We will continue to work on adding more states. Please be easy on us if your state is not on the list! We can promise you there's a good reason.

CAN I COMBINE A BEER AND MERCHANDISE SHIPPING ORDER?

 

Not at this time. Our contract with UPS legally prevents us from shipping beer and merchandise in the same packaging. As we work to constantly improve your experience, we may allow you to order them together. That being said, they will still ship separately which prevents any opportunity for cost savings.

 

MY ORDER HAS BEEN COMPLETED BUT NOW I WANT TO CHANGE IT... 

 

After you place your order, we can't change it, unfortunately. It may be processed and begun packaging by the time we find out, and we won't be able to fix it at that point. Please check your order thoroughly before placing it. We will be able to cancel your order if you contact us right away with your order number. We can cancel orders if you contact us by 5pm on Friday. Otherwise, your order will have begun the shipping process. Email us at info@foambrewers.com or call (802) 399-2511. 

WHAT WILL I PAY FOR SHIPPING?

 

The cost of shipping is calculated at checkout based on which size package you purchased, and where it's being shipped. We may adjust shipping prices week to week as we fine tune things.
